Questions, answered.
What does a naming agency actually do?
A naming agency finds, shapes and secures names that a business can build a brand on. That covers the idea, the sound and feel of the name, checking that it is easy to spell and remember, and making sure the matching domain is available. At Premade Brands the names are already created and the domains already secured, so you can skip the long search and start building right away.
Why does Premade Brands focus mostly on .com, and what are its advantages?
Because .com is still the default for businesses worldwide. When people hear a brand name, most of them type it with .com without thinking, so we choose names that hold up in the long run with the extension customers already expect. It is the most recognised and trusted extension, easy to say out loud and hard to mistype. It looks credible on a business card, in an email address and in search results, it avoids sending customers to a competitor who owns the .com of the same name, and it works for any country or industry, so the brand can grow without outgrowing its address.
Why does a premium domain matter, and is it worth the price?
Your domain is often the first thing people see of your business. A strong one earns trust faster, is easier to remember and share by word of mouth, and needs less advertising to explain itself. Think of it as a long-term brand investment, not an expense: it is an asset you own that can grow in value as your brand grows, and a good name saves money over time on marketing and rebranding. If your budget is tight, tell us what you have in mind and we can suggest names that fit.
Why are one-word domains so valuable?
They are short, memorable and limited in supply. Only so many strong single words exist, and most are taken. A one-word name gives a brand a clear identity and feels established from day one. When the word is also invented or distinctive, it can be easier to protect and to rank for.
What makes a two-word domain strong?
The best ones stay short, read naturally and say something about the business, such as KutaVillas or ObeliskLab. They are easy to spell after hearing them once and keep a clean look in a logo. Weaker two-word names tend to be long, hyphenated or hard to tell apart from similar ones.
What is a portmanteau name?
A portmanteau blends parts of two words into one new word. Pinterest (pin + interest) and Instagram (instant + telegram) are well-known examples. These names can be unique, easy to own as a brand and suggest a meaning without being generic. A playful respelling of a familiar word, like Evywhere, works in a similar way.
How does buying a domain from Premade Brands work?
